Basketball Camps

Please note that the grade for all of the camps is the grade for the 2011/2012 school year. In addition, locations of all of the camps are subject to change so please make sure that you review the web site for any changes.

Pre-Season Try-Out/Tune-Up Academy

Wear Out The Net Basketball Academy will be conducting a four session fall fundamental basketball academy.  This academy is designed for players to sharpen the skills necessary to feel confident for try-outs.  The goal of the academy is to prepare players for the upcoming season.  Players can expect to work on full court transitions drills, ball handling, dribbling, and shooting as well as individual offense and defense. 

Pre-Season Tune-Up Academy: Grades 4-8 - Registration Closed
Dates: August 14, 21, 28, September 11
Time:  Session 1 -  6:00 pm - 6:55 pm  (4th-5th grade)
          Session 2 -  7:00 pm - 7:55 pm  (6th-8th grade)

In-House Camps

Lakeville North High School Head Coach John Oxton, his coaching staff, and his high school players will be conducting a basketball camp for In-House basketball players, grades K-8, this summer. These camps are designed for the player who would like to improve their offensive and defensive basketball skills, meet new friends, and have FUN! Each player will receive a t-shirt and four fun filled days of basketball!

In-House Camp: Grades K-1 - Registration Closed

Time: 9:30 am - 11:30 am

Shooting Camps

Lakeville North High School Head Coach John Oxton, his coaching staff, and his high school players will be conducting three-day shooting camp for boys, grades 4-8. These camps are designed for the player who is interested in improving their shooting. Special emphasis will be placed on footwork and shooting form. Each player will receive a t-shirt and go through a video analysis of their shooting form.

Competitive (Travel) Camps

Lakeville North High School Head Coach John Oxton, his coaching staff and his high school players will be conducting a three-week basketball camp for players, grades 4-8, interested in competing in traveling team basketball next year. This camp is designed for the player who is serious about improving their offensive and defensive basketball skills. Each player will also receive a t-shirt and twelve fun filled days of basketball!

3 on 3 Full Court Camps

Lakeville North High School Head Coach John Oxton, his coaching staff, and his high school players will be conducting a two-week basketball camp for players, grades 4-8, interested in a FUN, up tempo way to improve their game this summer! This camp is designed for the player who is serious about improving their offensive and defensive basketball skills in a fast paced setting. Each day will consist of offensive drills, followed by full-court 3 on 3 play. Full-court 3 on 3 will ensure more touches in game situations and a FUN way to get better!

SPACE is limited -- sign up early so you don’t miss out.
