Welcome to registration for in house basketball for the Lakeville North Boys Basketball Association. Our programming is for boys entering Kindergarten through 8th grade that intend on attending Lakeville North High School.
The goal of the Lakeville North Boys In-House Basketball program is to provide an opportunity for boys to learn the fundamentals of basketball, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. We strive to provide equal playing time across all positions with age-appropriate rules & expectations.
DIBS:
The success of our program depends on parent volunteers for the in-house program. In this upcoming 2025- 2026 season parents will be required to volunteer your time to help this program. The options for volunteering are as follow: Level Directors, Coaching, Team Manager, Setup and Tear down crew, Hall monitors etc.. The Hall monitor, Setup/ Tear down crew will be done on a dibs rotation this year. There will be more to come with this as we prepare for this amazing year of basketball!
3rd Grade Evaluations & Travel Option:
We will be having evaluations this year as we are going to have an abbreviated travel season, playing in 3 tournaments towards the end of In-house. There will be a travel tryout for the 3rd grade boys who would like to make that team. Please indicate on your initial registration if you would be interested in trying out for the travel team. Any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Equipment:
We will have reversable jerseys and basketball that you can borrow during the season. These need to be returned after the end of the season. You are welcome to bring a basketball if you have a good indoor one, but we have you covered there.
Registration & Payment:
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account.

K -1st GRADE IN HOUSE CLINIC
Parents:
We are looking forward to a great year, the K-1 clinics are run by Coach Nolan and his staff. We will need parent volunteers to Coach individual teams and a level director. This is a great program for K-1 players!
The success of our program depends on parent volunteers for the in-house program. Please consider volunteering as a Coach.
Level Director:
Teams #1 to 6 play: 8:15am - 9:15am
Teams #7 to 12 play: 9:30am - 10:30am
Players will have 7 Saturday clinics scheduled as follows:
10/25/2025, 11/1/2025, 11/8/2025, 11/15/2025, 11/22/2025, 12/6/2025, 12/13/2025
Coach Nolan and his staff will run each clinic except one week when the assigned Coaches will run the clinic for their teams.
SAVE THE DATE: TBD. Each year, K-1 players are invited to participate in a "practice" at a LN Boys Varsity Basketball game.

2nd GRADE IN-HOUSE BASKETBALL
Parents:
We are looking forward to a great year! We need parent volunteers for coaching and level coordinator.
The success of our program depends on parent volunteers for the in-house program. Please consider volunteering as a Coach.

Teams #1 to #4 play: 8:15am - 9:30am
Teams #5 to #8 play: 9:45am - 11:00am
Players will have 8 Saturday practices scheduled as followed:

JAMBOREE:
We will be adding a tournament like play the last session of 2nd grade to where the kids get to play a game again teams they haven't scrimmaged against all session. We are looking to have the high school player to ref it so kids get a taste of what 3rd grade will be like. More to come.

We are very excited for the season to begin. The kids will have two practices a week and games on Saturdays. We need parent volunteers for coaching.

JAMBOREE:
- We will be adding a tournament like play for the last day 1/3/2026 so the kids get the feel of playing to win! You will be guaranteed at least 2 games to play and be matched up against a team with similar wins. May the best team win!

7th & 8th Grade In-House Basketball
EXPANDED OFFERING!
For the past few years we have had some kids participate in a league specifically for In House basketball based out of Burnsville. We need parent volunteers for coaching.
Level Coordinator:

All participants will get a Lakeville North Basketball T-Shirt!
Jerseys will be provided as a loaner by the association.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
- Practices start 1-2 practices every week
- Saturday games at a local south metro schools (last season, games were hosted in Farmington and Burnsville)

- End of the season tournament

Coaches Training/Certification
Concussion Training is MANDATORY for all coaches and certification will be required at the Coaches Meeting. The following links will lead to free online certification courses:
